What owners say

From Orca 375 sailors, in their own words.

  • My boys and I have been having so much fun sailing the Orca 375 on the weekends on Lake Constance! We have already successfully sailed approximately 100 nm this season, with more to come. Every time, we have had many questions from spectators watching us setting up the boat — your boat strikes interest with people.

  • I took my 375 for a spin at a dam lake close to Prague, known for very difficult sailing conditions due to challenging, changing wind. But the Orca was performing excellently and was really grabbing attention from people and sailors — I am very pleased and happy.

  • I already have an Orca 375 and an old Nomad 3 — very solid, reliable sailboats. The 375 is amazing for teaching children to sail, and with our new lake house I need another.

Common questions

Before you order

  • How long does setup take?

First time: about 2 hours including reading the manual and watching the instructions videos. Once you've done it once or twice: about 20 minutes from bags-on-shore to mast-up — inflation alone is 5–10 minutes of that.

  • Can I sail it solo?

Yes. You can solo the Orca 375 either with the mainsail only (simpler), or with the jib using the 2026 cam cleats mounted on the thwart.

  • Will it fit in my car?

Two bags. The packed boat bag is 100 × 72 × 38 cm (32 kg); the sail-kit bag is 120 × 45 × 20 cm (17 kg). Most estate cars and SUVs swallow both bags in the trunk; a hatchback handles the boat bag with seats down, sail-kit alongside. For motorhomes or caravans, both bags travel comfortably in a storage compartment.

  • What happens if I puncture a tube?

Each Orca has 3 hull chambers plus a separate dropstitch floor chamber — a puncture in one chamber doesn't affect the others, so the boat keeps substantial buoyancy. The repair kit handles a typical small puncture — clean, patch, let dry, re-inflate.

  • Is the warranty international?

Two years inside the EU, one year worldwide, on manufacturing defects. Claims go through info@dinghygo.com; replacement parts ship via our NL distributor, Friesland Watersport (frieslandwatersport.nl).

  • Can I add a motor?

Up to 4.5 kW / 6 hp, with a maximum engine mass of 27 kg. The transom is reinforced for that load. Same limit on all three Orcas — it's the certified maximum on the builder's plate.

  • Is the sail-kit (rig) upgrade-able?

The Orca 375 ships with mainsail + jib standard, and the mainsail includes a smart reefing system — pull the reef line and lift the rear boom end to reduce sail area and gain extra headroom. Apply the reef when wind picks up, or remove the jib and sail only with the mainsail. No separate kit needed.

  • How does shipping work?

A DinghyGo Orca package consists of 2 cartons stacked on a 60 × 80 cm pallet (135 cm tall, 65–70 kg total). Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address.
